Terms & Conditions

  • Delivery times apply to items in stock.
  • If any items you order are not available we will use the telephone or email details you have provided to contact you and discuss how you wish to proceed. If we are not able to contact you we will use our discretion and send you the items that are available and possibly a substitute for the unavailable item(s) or refund you accordingly.
  • Deliveries normally occur between 7am and 6pm. Currently the exact timing of delivery cannot be specified.
  • Working days are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude bank holidays
  • Unless otherwise stated, all deliveries will be made direct to your door. We are not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of your goods
  • We do not deliver items to multiple addresses unless arrangement has been discussed with UK Bamboo Supplies Limited and agreement has been confirmed by our courier service and we have then confirmed with you.
  • Please leave a daytime telephone number as we may contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date.
  • If your order contains more than one item you may be contacted by more than one operator to arrange the delivery date, and the products may be delivered separately from different delivery partners.
  • Delivery is available to all UK mainland addresses. Customers living in some remote rural areas should note some services are not available. If you live in one of these areas we will notify you to make a suitable arrangement and available delivery services.
  • Delivery out of the UK is available. UK Bamboo Supplies Limited will obtain quotations for the delivery on your request and confirm to you with an estimated delivery date.
  • Should you wish to arrange your own collection and delivery of your order this will need to be arranged at the time of order and agreement as to collection date at a suitable time for UK Bamboo Supplies Limited.



All product prices include VAT and exclude delivery charges. During the checkout process, your order will be updated to show the delivery charges and a total amount to pay including the delivery charges and VAT.

Although we endeavour to ensure that all pricing information is accurate, occasionally an error may occur and goods may be mispriced. If we discover a pricing error we will, at our discretion, either contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or notify you that we have cancelled your order. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.

Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions are only valid for the specified period.

We reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before (but not after) we accept your order.


Your order

You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order by clicking the “confirm order” button on the check out page.

All orders made by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.

After submitting an order to us we will send you an order acknowledgement email with your order number and details of the goods that you have ordered. Please note this email is an acknowledgement and is not an acceptance of your order. This is an automated email, so you may need to check your junk / spam folder.

If you order goods which are not available from stock, we will contact you by e-mail or by telephone to discuss how you wish to proceed. If appropriate, you will have the option to wait until the goods are available from stock, review the order for similar products, or cancel the order.

Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our returns policy, we accept your order 7 days after the date of order or when the goods are delivered, whichever is earlier.




    • The total cost of your order is the price of the goods and delivery charges.
    • Payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards.

What cards do you accept?

We currently accept PayPal, Visa credit cards, Visa debit cards including Delta and Electron, Mastercard, Maestro (UK) & International Maestro debit cards, and BACS payment by prior arrangement. We DO NOT accept cheques.

You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order and we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal.

We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.

Is it safe to buy online?

You can be totally confident when you shop with UK Bamboo Supplies Limited. Internet shopping is now as safe as shopping in a store or by phone, so there is no need for anyone to miss out on the benefits and convenience it provides.


Delivery & receipt of goods

Upon receiving your delivery please check all items straight away for any problems or issues. If there is any problems or issues with the items, please take a photograph and contact us as soon as possible. Issues must be reported within 14 days of receiving your order. We cannot be held responsible for any issues after this time frame.

How much will delivery cost me?

This is calculated on the total price, weight and area in the UK or abroad. There is only one delivery charge per order. This charge is automatically calculated according to the products you have selected to buy (added to your shopping basket).

Can I change my delivery date?

We make every effort to dispatch the goods on the same, or next day of receipt of your order. If you need to amend the delivery address, you must notify us as soon as you are able. The onus is on you to advise UK Bamboo Supplies Limited in reasonable time. If the goods are already with one of our delivery partners and providing agreement has been accepted by UK Bamboo Supplies Limited  we will do what we can to have the goods rerouted.

When booking delivery the courier service is always booked as ‘next day delivery’ ,  however, we advise 1 – 3 week days in case of unforeseeable delays.

Can I collect, or arrange my own courier collection?

Yes, this can be done by emailing your order details, billing address and contact number to sales@ukbamboo.com so that a manual order can be arranged with a member of our team. Once the manual order has been fully processed and payment received we will notify you when the goods are ready for collection.

We cannot hold responsibility for damage to goods that have been handled and delivered by any courier or driver other than one of our delivery partners. Any claim for damage caused once the goods have left our warehouse is between yourself and the person or company responsible for that shipment.



Returns policy

If you buy a product which we deliver to you, you may return your order within 14 days after delivery. This is subject to the following conditions:

      1. The product must be unused.
      2. Orders which are cut, made to measure or mixed to your requirements will not be exchanged or refunded.
      3. If the product is damaged during transit, images are sent to sales@ukbamboo.com.

Once returned will receive a full refund of the price paid (excluding relevant delivery charges) less any collection charges. If you return a part of an order, we will recalculate any applicable delivery charge for the remaining part of the order and also deduct this from the refund.

When you have received your order, if you realise you have ordered incorrectly (size, colour etc.), you may refuse receipt of delivery and the courier will return to us, or we can arrange for collection. Either way please notify us to explain your reasons. We will then calculate the refund for the price of the goods, less the return fee.

If you have an issue with a product, i.e. not as described on the website, incorrect colour, etc., please notify us by email with attached photos within 14 days after delivery. Once we have reviewed the issue and situation we will advise how we plan to proceed. Should we agree to replace the product/s we will arrange for courier collection of the original item/s, therefore the products must be unused and stored correctly before collection. The items must be wrapped the same way, or very similar, before collection. The courier will bring their own address label.

We reserve the right to refuse a return or to require proof of identity. We also reserve the right to add a 20% handling fee where applicable.

General terms & conditions

We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. There may be blemishes and or scratches on the bamboo poles, which are generally caused during harvesting. These just add to the natural, rustic look of the poles.

Poles may have or develop cracks and / or splits, this does not affect the general properties of the bamboo and is purely aesthetic.

The diameter stated is measured at the widest part of the cane towards the base of the pole. Due to the way grows, it is normal for the canes to taper; whilst most canes will only taper down by a few millimetres, they can taper up to 60% in extreme cases. Each pole is expected to be within +/-20% of the range diameter it is sold in. All sizes quoted are approximate to the required size.

Bamboo is a natural product so be prepared for variation in colour, size and shape. Not all poles are straight from base to tip and no two poles are likely to be the same.

Where UK Bamboo Supplies Limited agrees to provide a specifically designed plan, the Customer agrees to check the accuracy and suitability of the plan.

We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of UK Bamboo Supplies Limited.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.

The Customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary planning permission and local authority consents and permissions for any work to be carried out and allowing its agent to inspect these prior to the commencement of work.

Any plan drawn by UK Bamboo Supplies Limited, and remains, its property and may not be reproduced in whole or in part without its previous written consent.

UK Bamboo Supplies Limited will do all it reasonably can to meet the date given for delivery. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, beyond the reasonable control of UK Bamboo Supplies Limited, UK Bamboo Supplies Limited may not be able to do so. In such circumstances UK Bamboo Supplies Limited will contact the Customer and agree an alternative date. The Customer will also do all that he/she reasonably can to enable the delivery to take place on the given date. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Customer the Customer may not be able to do so. In such circumstances the Customer will contact UK Bamboo Supplies Limited and agree and alternative date.

As soon as UK Bamboo Supplies Limited has delivered the goods, the Customer will be responsible for their safekeeping and UK Bamboo Supplies Limited will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage. If the Customer delays a delivery, UK Bamboo Supplies Limited responsibility for everything other than damage due to its negligence will end on the date UK Bamboo Supplies Limited agreed to deliver them as set out in the contract.

Ownership of the goods shall remain with UK Bamboo Supplies Limited and shall not pass to the Customer until the agreed price for them, together with all other sums due from the Customer to UK Bamboo Supplies Limited have been paid in full.

To the extent permitted by law, UK Bamboo Supplies Limited accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a consequence of the advice provided.

These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.

Contracts are made and accepted subject to these Conditions of Sale. Contracts that are made in Scotland shall be governed by Scottish Law otherwise this contract shall be governed by English Law and no other.

In these terms and conditions:

“UK Bamboo Supplies Limited” means, UK Bamboo Supplies Limited and any other connected organisation that supplies the goods ordered by you and any successor to its business;

“We and Us” means UK Bamboo Supplies Limited either alone or together with you, as the context requires;

“Working day” means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays;

“You” means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;
