Bamboo has come a long way since it was first used as an early construction material in Asia.

Today, with the advancements in technology and manufacturing, the natural material has been refined to create engineered bamboo products for a variety of applications. With the global shift toward a greener future, bamboo is now seen as a challenger to traditional hardwoods.

Although our story started with bamboo poles, at UK Bamboo Supplies we are pleased to have expanded our offering over the years to showcase the brilliance and versatility of bamboo. It’s so much more than a fast-growing giant grass!

We now offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of engineered bamboo materials on the UK market, with bamboo veneers, plyboards, decking, cladding, and lumber now part of our catalogue.

In 2023, UK Bamboo Supplies Ltd. became an official UK agent of the Dasso Group.

Founded in 1993 with the aim of “providing the world with beautiful, long-lasting and environmentally friendly bamboo products,” the Dasso Group are industry leaders in bamboo product manufacture with their CTECH & XTR bamboo decking, cladding and lumber.

The partnership with the Dasso Group allows us to raise the profile of bamboo in the UK and challenge the status quo when it comes to the use of traditional materials.

All the Dasso products are backed by all the credentials you would expect from a world-class product: EU Fire Class B, ICC-ES, and an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), for example. This allows us to supply projects at a higher level, such as for architectural studios and government projects.
